For thousands of years, religion helped us create meaningful stories about our lives. Stories concerning our most important moments: birth, marriage, departure, illnes and death. Nowadays, for many people in the Western world, religion doesn’t play that role anymore. We have to create small and meaningful stories ourselves.
In this ongoing project, we help people tell their stories. We interview them at decisive moments. Then, we create a metaphor, a token of personal truth, which captures this valuable moment. In this way, we try to create a fabric of meaningful stories. A fabric which gradually fills the gap which religion left behind.
